Adaptive Driving Idaho provides comprehensive evaluations, and adaptive driving assessment, and behind-the-wheel training to help providers make informed recommendations regarding driving readiness, return to driving, and vehicle modification needs.

What Providers Recieve

​Following evaluation, providers receive clear recommendations regarding driving readiness, safety concerns, adaptive equipment needs, and next-step considerations as appropriate. 

​

Who Should Be Referred?

Refer patients who may have history of:

​

  • Stroke / CVA

  • Brain injury 

  • Multiple sclerosis 

  • Parkinson's disease

  • Dementia / mild cognitive impairment

  • Spinal cord injury (SCI)

  • Amputation

  • Neuropathy 

  • Visual-perceptual or functional vision concerns

  • Need for adaptive driving equipment 

  • Neuro divergent learning profiles

  • Questions about return to driving after illness, injury, or diagnosis 

  • Family/provider concerns regarding driving safety
